LICENSED FOR CIVIL PARTNERSHIP CEREMONIES
If you wish to have the ceremony on the premises, the Robert Louis Stevenson room is available at a charge of £160, this has lovely views of Edinburgh Castle from its large floor to ceiling bay window.
The Honeymoon suite is provided with our compliments on the night of your ceremony when booking a meal & evening buffet for 45 or more.
We can also assist in organising seating plans, flowers, bands or discos, provide placecards and a cake stand as part of our service.
We have a key for Queen Street Gardens which is a lovely setting for photographs. The pond in this garden has a small island in it, where it is said Robert Louis Stevenson (who lived opposite the gardens), played as a child and later wrote the classic Treasure Island. There is now a fee of £50 payable to the Trustees of the garden for the use of the gardens for photography. The couple can take advantage of our roof top vantage point to have a photo with the Castle in the background.
Due to traffic restrictions on Princes St we have an arrangement with the police to allow limousines along Princes Street to stop outside Over-Seas House. As an alternative to the Honeymoon Suite we can offer a complimentary coach to bring your guest from the civil ceremony to the club.
Please call in, we would be delighted to show you around.
