Bedrooms

The majority of bedrooms have been refurbished to provide fresh comfortable surroundings, with the latest technology unobtrusively installed to ensure guests can have access to the internet and a wide range of TV or radio programmes, without the hardware overwhelming the room.

Over-Seas House has sixteen bedrooms, the majority front facing with unrivalled views of Edinburgh Castle. In keeping with a building built in the late 19th Century the bedrooms are of different shapes and sizes. Period features have been retained where possible while providing flexibility for guest to enjoy their stay. There are four single rooms, three double bedded rooms, six twin bedded rooms which can have the bed zipped together and three studio rooms. The studio rooms offer a larger living space with armchair and settee in the room. One of the studio rooms has a four poster bed.

Room rates vary throughout the year but start from £80 for a single, £100 for a twin/double and Studio rooms from £120. These rates are for the room and include full cooked Scottish breakfast and vat.

There are weekend break rates available from £130 for two nights bed and breakfast, with dinner on one night, per person.

There are reduced room rates when booking bedrooms as part of conference or wedding package, speak to duty manger for further details.

Members can reserve rooms for family or friends without staying at the club house in Edinburgh themselves.

All rooms are ensuite, have direct dial telephones, tea/coffee making facilities, bathrobes,WI FI internet access and a limited 24 hour room service. The digital cable TV system has digital radio, full movie and sports package as well as 24 hour world news coverage. The majority of rooms have flat screen televisions.
